  Cashier told me how baf the people are in this neighborhood. Guess what? I live in this neighborhood and I find this highly unprofessional. Also, I always find dirty cups or empty drinking containers around the aisles. Things such as milk, cheeses and other items that need to be refrigerated are often misplaced and defrost or warm up, this can make someone sick. You guys need to get on top of it and patrol your aisles more during the day.

  The pharmacy is always busy because they are good, they have upto 5 people to try and speed things up. I never have an issue. Just give them 20 min. Or order before you arrive.

  I have been going to this Safeway for over 25 years. I know it is in a ruff area, I know they are not the cheapest in town. But for my day to day shopping it’s like heaven, and my big shopping days I go on the first Tuesday of the month for the deals. I have been to the other stores around my area and this one is the best by far. Try Costco, you pay for membership and buy twice what you need or stuff you don’t need, try superstore where the rudest people in edmonton go and ram your cart as you shop, save on foods where it takes just as long to park and pay as it does to shop. I like my Safeway and I’ll pay the fifty cents more for peace and mind.

  Sort of a ghetto safeway. They close the west entrance at 7 pm, barricade it with bottles and pop and put a guard in front of it. Prices are actually higher then other safeways in Edmonton as theres a lot of theft going on and they need to make up for it. Thats what employees told me when i asked about the higher cost of food there.

  A one stop shop for all of your grocery needs. Good selection and prices, produce is always fresh and is rotated regularly. Bakery department always goes the extra mile to be helpful and courteous. Always some good deals happening in the meat and also dairy sections, Check it out! Only complaint is that the fish department always seems chronically understaffed, but the smoked salmon is awesome. Good selection and availability of vegetarian products which is a plus for a medium sized grocery store.

  The selection and service are great. The store itself is a bit dark and age worn. The in store specials are good.
