Movie theatre is a classic landmark in Edmonton but I feel i's lost some its cluster after they removed the famed fire breathing dragon. Unfortunately they keep hiking up prices for food, and this stops us from going to the movies for "cheap date night".Cineplex is a large enough company that they can afford to keep their prices reasonable and still maintain profits for their shareholders. They should focus on making their money by emphasizing customer service and unique experiences instead of gouging and punishing their customers by hugely marking up basic food like corn and soda pop- they're charging $25 for this combo, I can get a NY steak for the same price. I'll be bringing in my own snacks or eating before I come to the theatre from now on.

For a Scotiabank complex, this one is really starting to look dated. Typically one or more of the escalators are not working (neither were this visit), and with only one elevator, people with disabilities and seniors who need to use the elevator have a long wait.

Well I have had a good experience Every time I have ventured out to this cinema! Service is prompt and the refreshments always on point. It does help that I live like two blocks of the cinema. I also really like their loyalty program "Scene Points" wife and I just enjoyed a free movie tonight!. Will be back for sure!

Staffing at the concession stand was efficient and hence the reason for 3 stars and not 2.

Overall, I really feel this establishment reflects negatively on Scotiabank image. They can do much better.

Doesn't have the same attraction now that the fire breathing dragon has been removed. I can see why they needed to renovate but it certainly feels like every other theatre now. Biggest draw for me these days is the IMAX screen and the location. The mall parking is usually packed around the theatre so it can take a decent walk to get there.

Staffing isn't up to standards, for example, when the person was taking our ticket to enter the theatre, she was busy talking to her colleague and couldn't be bothered to acknowledge us or the people in front of us.

Prices at the concession are pretty outrageous, but all in all pretty good! Little slow at the concession sometimes, but the staff are always super friendly!! Also, they have staff standing near the doors with giant garbage buckets, take your garbage, and put it in there you filthy animals!
