  What a horrible casino. Honestly I've been here 3 times, NEVER won, like not even a return of any sort. You're better off just giving your money to the bartender, at least you'll get a drink. Escalator never works, drinks are sub par, staff are mostly unpleasant. There really is nothing good about this place.

  I work here so I'm biased. Palace casino is reopening as starlight casino very soon. A bunch of new machines and brand new renovations in the areas that used to be jubilations and encore. Phase 1 is almost done. Come check it out! Be the first to see the new space.

  I approached this Casino with my Girlfriend and we happen to be an interracial Couple. The gentleman at the door was checking our ID's and was taking exceptionally long when he was looking at my ID. He then went on the radio and asked if they're allowed to allow Skanks into the casino referring to my Girlfriend. When I said I beg you pardon...he then said you're not getting in now. This Casino has staff that racially profile couples... I would no recommend this Casino if you're a female in a skirt, a black male, or an interracial couple because you will get profiled before you even walk in to this dirty Casino.

  I've been a gambler over 30 yrs. This is by far the worst casino in Edmonton even more so since the renovation, (I guess someone has to pay for the rich renovations) almost impossible to win here. I've personally walked out up at one time or another from every other casino (within 500km) in and around Edmonton but never the Palace Casino at WEM. The staff here, especially the goof mall cop security guards are the rudest around (wannabe cops) although they do have pretty good people running the bar.
