  Another auto care garage recommended Altec Auto when they were unable to work on my 15 passenger van. I've been going to Altec Auto ever since. They always have a full parking lot, which says a lot about how much business they do. I have always been satisfied with my service at Altec.

  I don’t like to leave a bad review. Part of this was my own fault. I was recommended to this place by a mechanic for that I have some good history with. I called to make an appointment, but rather than a solid time, I was invited to bring it on down right then. I wasn’t available, so I suggested Friday, and again rather than a specific time, I didn’t get the sense this dude was even holding a pen. (Maybe he’s just that good! Hopefully!) Anyway, their tiny parking lot had what seemed like dozen of cars parked every which-way,like they were dropped out of a helicopter. Guys—if you’re this busy, think about a bigger lot, or some street parking.

  I goofed and had my ringer off when they called, so rather than fix any of the things I asked for, it got nothing, but I’ll take that blame. At least there were no surprises. While trying to switch cars there, I found there is no street parking for miles. Seriously a long ways away. So perhaps 5 or so of the 30 cars seemingly upside down and tipped over on their grass berm, belonged to their employees. I do know there was a car front and center double parking a couple of cars that was totalled.

  My family has been going to All Tec with our vehicles for years. They provide simple, honest service that is always of good quality and at not unreasonable rates.

  I got that classic “can’t do that, til I do this”, and left feeling apprehensive that anything substantial had been done. The pulling I brought the truck down for persists, and I just get that “don’t trust mechanics” feeling. I hope others love this place, and I just didn’t connect with them. It wasn’t exactly cheap though.

  I brought a 2013 BMW X3 to see if it needed anything. All it needed was rear brakes and tires. These guys are very friendly, respectful, and most importantly they are honest. I recommend bringing any type of vehicle to them if you want honesty and great work done at a great price!

  Seriously, friend, if you’re looking at mechanics, consider going to a dealer and getting a new car. Old cars are a money pit. You’ll never get your money back.
