  My first time at chop was this past Saturday and I was really impressed with the prime rib I ordered. It wasn't to think and just enough greasle on it which gave the prime rib a succulent mouth watering taste. With that I had the mashed potatoes which were quite tasty as well, and a lovely dressed tomato to go with it. Good food good service very friendly and inviting atmosphere. I would strongly recommend

  We LOVE Chop! They did our cooking for our wedding at the attached Sandman Hotel and everyone enjoyed it. We also had our rehearsal dinner here and have dined here at least 6 times since. You have to try the steak bites and the pulled chicken tacos but everything is amazing. Fantastically friendly servers and hosts. Delicious drinks...try the Greyhound!

  We ordered steaks. My husband ordered the 14 oz "Rib Steak" medium well. I ordered the 12 oz "New York Steak" medium well.

  The only bright part of our meal was our server who was very attentive and the young ladies at the front of house. They were very nice.

  The server brought us complimentary Winnipeg Rye Bread right after we ordered our meal. We just finished our bread and our steaks were served to us.

  The sides were very unappealing as well: crispy deep fried onion strips and a small half tomato with a terrible tasting herb bread crumble on top of it.

  My husband's "Rib Steak" looked like it was a thin slice of meat/steak that was cut off a prime rib roast and it was cooked well done (compared to my steak it was no where near a 14 oz in size). Whereas my "New York" steak was about 1 inch thick and about 14 oz in weight and was cooked medium "rare". My steak was sitting in juice on the plate which had not yet redistributed. Once I cut into the steak the juices ran out.

  My best restaurant experience was awesome. I walked in the door and my table was covered with balloons and Happy Birthday confetti. They offered me champagne but I didn't drink. Our server was Tristan he was extremely positive....easy to talk too and took our order in the time we needed. He said all the time...no rush and always was smiles keeping my pop glass full. When the food came my girlfriends meals was cooked and plated awesome mine was too...however it was undercooked...Tristan took it back and they remade it...however the steak was well done so I said that's okay I will eat it like it is but the Marissa (manager)convinced me to have my meal done the way I wanted it. With the whole meal I was extremely 100% stress free they made me feel so great...then my dessert was presented to me by Sam she described it thoroughly and it was the best cake I had in 8 years....the whole team gave me a Birthday card with a little gift in it. Very unexpected and so thoughtful. I enjoyed my Birthday there that I booked it for next year....the team just made my day way better then I had anticipated they gave me my first ever 100% WOW EXPERIENCE! This is going to be my new favorite place for my birthday. Thanks to my girlfriend
